LAKEWOOD, N.J., Sept. 19, 2019 – Perma Pure LLC, a global leader of gas conditioning solutions for environmental monitoring, scientific, and medical applications, today announced the promotion of Timothy (Tim) Toh to the Perma Pure Board of Directors as General Manager of Asia Pacific effective immediately. Tim will continue to be based in Singapore where he will be responsible for Perma Pure’s APAC sales, manufacturing, technical service, and on-market support. Asia Pacific includes a number of important growth markets for Perma Pure, and Tim’s leadership will be instrumental in expanding our customer base and the number of customer segments we serve.
Tim has 20 years of broad regional Asia Pacific industrial experience ranging from oil and gas, power, process safety, optics/photonics and rail. He started out his career with Emerson’s valve division as a regional sales engineer and later was the managing director of TUV Rheinland in Singapore and General Manager of Explosion protection and Functional Safety Asia Pacific. For five years, Tim served as the Director of Trade for the Singapore government in Frankfurt, Germany. He joined Perma Pure in October 2018 as the head of APAC Business Development for the Process and Emissions business, where he quickly defined and advanced the commercial strategy.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Engineering (honors) and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London. He speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese and German. In his spare time, Tim volunteers as a business mentor for German Accelerator South East Asia, guiding German tech startups in diverse fields.

Brian will be responsible for leading the commercial team and operations, including the go-to-market and growth strategies, as well as the commercial execution and expansion across Perma Pure’s medical, environmental, and scientific analysis customer segments. His expertise in developing and launching sales process and methodology across multiple sales channels will be an enabler for Perma Pure’s growth acceleration.
Brian brings over 13 years of sales and operations experience in the medical device industry. He has designed and executed multiple sales channel expansions to optimize customer contact and ultimately accelerate growth. We believe Brian has a focus on the customer, ensuring the sales process and service meet the needs of the customer, and invests in people through coaching, feedback and support.
Prior to joining Perma Pure, Brian served as the Director of Sales programs for Integra LifeSciences. Previously, he held multiple sales roles including Regional Sales Manager where he built markets and executed sales plans for technically complex medical solutions.
Brian earned his Executive MBA from Penn State, and has his Bachelor of Science from Towson University. He is also the founder of a small not for profit organization focused on partnering with deserving charities to help them raise money through creative events.
Brian will be based at Perma Pure’s headquarter location in Lakewood, New Jersey, USA.

In her role as President, she will be responsible for Perma Pure’s global operational performance and innovation growth strategies. Sharon Bracken will be based in Lakewood, NJ. Sharon’s 27 years of experience includes numerous industries, including diagnostics, pharmaceutical, electronics, and consumer products. She has demonstrated ability in organizational start-up and turn-around, commercial growth and international expansion, and a deep commitment toserving customers and developing high performing teams.
Sharon comes to Perma Pure from Abbott where she held global leadership positions in Abbott’s Diagnostics Division and served as President of Abbott Point of Care. Prior to joining Abbott, Sharon served in senior roles with Johnson & Johnson, L’Oreal, Metrologic, and Ingersoll-Rand in supply chain, operations, engineering, and new product and process development.
Sharon earned her bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and her Masters of Business Administration degree from Duke University: The Fuqua School of Business.

Perma Pure was recognized for the development of technologies that utilize Nafion polymer membranes in critical applications, such as sample lines for neonatal respiratory therapy and air emissions monitoring.
